Refund Policy

HeartCart is a gifting platform. In order to maintain the security and integrity of our platform and protect our users from financial scams, we do not offer refunds.

What does this mean for gifters?

HeartCart does not allow for refunds to ensure the safety of all users. By using our platform, gifters must agree to this policy before proceeding to the checkout page. As a gifter, you acknowledge that any contribution made is a non-refundable donation to the receiver, and you understand that no product or service is expected in return for your donation.

By gifting, you affirm that you have taken appropriate steps to verify the authenticity of the wishlist owner. We do not guarantee the authenticity of the wishlist owner.

Additionally, by gifting, you agree not to hold HeartCart liable for the loss of funds but we do encourage you to report suspicious accounts and/or activity (for example catfishing, fraud, scam etc). See “How to contact us” section below.

What does this mean for recipients of funds?

All gifters must adhere to the terms outlined above, and no refunds will be issued to gifters. This policy is in place to safeguard recipients from potential scams.

In special circumstances, a refund may be issued should the recipient of funds request a transaction reversal. In this case, the payment processing and platform fees will not be refunded.

Fraud Exception

HeartCart is committed to combating fraudulent activity on our platform. We employ measures to detect and prevent financial fraud. If you suspect that your financial information has been used for an unauthorized payment, please promptly contact our support team via email for assistance. Fraudulent transactions may be subject to reversal upon investigation.

Additionally, our payment processor(s) may employ fraud detection and prevention practices and/or assist HeartCart in the case of financial fraud investigation.
